The 6th edition of the International Workshop on Wearable, Micro, and Nano Technologies for Personalized Health, pHealth, will take place in Oslo, Norway, 24-26 June 2009. pHealth 2009 continues the tradition of the previous series of workshops by bringing together key players from all aspects of healthcare and technology to inform, discuss, debate, and learn about how personalized healthcare systems can help meet future healthcare needs.
The workshop is a forum for presenting and discussing cutting edge technology for creating solutions for tomorrow's personalised health systems. This year's workshop will focus how to face the health care needs in the near future. A primary focus will be user centred development and successful implementations. We would like to demonstrate successful technology implementation at hospitals and in the health care sector, and present and discuss new possibilities and solutions of tomorrow.
We have allocated an exhibition space and facilities for organisations that want to be present with their products and technologies. Project demos will also be part of the exhibition. In addition to the scientific programme this is an opportunity to enjoy the social and friendly atmosphere of Oslo and participate in a social programme that includes a reception at the Oslo City Hall, followed by a boat trip.
