Health or Health Care sector is one of MedCoast focus areas 2010-2011
MedCoast works to strengthen the cooperation on further development of innovation in the health sector in West Scandinavia. During 2010-2011 MedCoast has developed a mapping of the innovation system for the health sector in the region of Västra Götaland and the Oslo region, in order to see how the systems - if any - works today. Furthermore to see which - if any - are the obstacles and what we can contribute to overcome these obstacles.
MedCoast has furthermore looked at the attitudes and approaches on idea and innovation development in the hospital organization.
