MedCoast is managing projects focusing on Innovation in the Health Care sectors in Oslo-Göteborg.
The project is performed by a researcher at Göteborg University and includes a mapping of the innovation systems for health care sectors in Västra Götalandsregionen (West Sweden) and Oslo Region (Norway). The second part for the project aims at analysing attitudes and approaches on ideas and innovation development in the hospital organization.
By studying the attitudes and culture within the hospital lorganizations in Gothenburg-Oslo, the region can contribute to an understanding that can lay as foundation in the work on develop the innovation environment in the hospital organizations, and provide a critical mass.
Results from this study can be strategically indicative for guidelines, research and development to enhance the environment for innovation in hospital organizations.

E-health
MedCoast is looking into the possibilites of working with collaborations in E-health. Oslo and Göteborg region share similar challenges in the field of E-health to meet future demands for care. MedCoast therefore plans on linking ongoing activites and projects cross broder as well as initiating new initiatives in collaboration with our regional partners.
