The GO region

The Göteborg-Oslo region (GO region) in which MedCoast has its foundation,  is a dynamic and strategically located region that is important both in Scandinavian and international contexts. The region is made up of Oslo, Akershus, Østfold, Göteborg and Västra Götaland. It is home to almost a quarter of the population of Norway and Sweden, about four million people.

Oslo and Göteborg are major centers for education, industry, trade and transport. MedCoast is involved in the EU project COINCO North, working for improved infrastructure in the region, through the development of high-speed train between Oslo, Göteborg and Öresund.
