These are organisation, institute and educations dedicated to the biomedical business development and sector in the MedCoast region.

GöteborgBIO
Project aiming to double the number biomedical employments in the region.

Institute for Biomaterials and Cell Therapy:
Constitutes an integral part of the regional infrastructure for stimulating future development within the field of regenerative medicine. Its mission is to initiate and run basic and internationally competitive research and development projects in biomaterials and cell therapy in collaboration with companies. Part of GöteborgBIO.

Göteborg International Bioscience Business School, GIBBS
Unique entrepreneurial masters program mixing theoretical education with support (including facilities, seed financing and expert knowledge) in the business creation process. Part of GöteborgBIO.

FUGE - The National Program for Research in Functional Genomics
Designed to strengthen research in the field to bring Norway up to top international standards. The successful mapping of the genomes of humans and certain animals, plants and microorganisms is expected not only to enhance our understanding of biological systems, but also to spawn a host of new products and production processes.

Oslo Bio
Oslo Bio is a collaborative network of stakeholders from the life science cluster in the region of Oslo, Norway´s capital. The network aims to strengthen the cluster and contribute to long term growth through marketing, initiating and facilitating development projects, and international collaboration.

Oslo Cancer Cluster
Through partnership between the life science industry, research institutions, university hospitals, government and the Norwegian Cancer Society, the cluster will accelerate the development of innovative cancer diagnostics and treatment.  We will work to ensure that the new treatments developed are used to improve the lives of cancer patients.
