The program will focus on innovation throughout the value chain from consumer to primary production for both agricultural food products and seafood.
Marine Innovations
Support program that strengthen the innovation ability of the marine industry through networking and knowledge sharing. Solve specific development tasks and funds joint initiatives in the fishing industry.
Fisheries and Aquaculture Funding
Based on a levy of 0,3 % on all exported fish and fish products. Funding scheme for industrial R&D work within fisheries and aquaculture.
NIFES- The National Institute of Nutrition and Seafood Research
Formerly known as the Institute of Nutrition under the Directorate of Fisheries, is a research institute with administrative tasks.
MareLife
MareLife is a biomarine innovation network organized as a member organization. It embraces major stakeholders of innovation: trend setting manufacturers, solution providers, start ups and ventures, venture capital, contemporary scientific organizations and public sector facilitators of innovation and commercialization. Its main vision and goal is to advance the biomarine sector to become a knowledge intensive sustainable industry which has science, diversity and adaptability as major characteristiscs.
