VINNOVA - The Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems
A state authority that aims to promote growth and prosperity throughout Sweden. Our particular area of responsibility comprises innovations linked to research and development. Our tasks are to fund the needs-driven research required by a competitive business and industrial sector and a flourishing society, and to strengthen the networks that are such a necessary part of this work.    
 
NUTEK- the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth
Nutek contributes to the creation of new enterprises, more growing enterprises and more strong regions - and consequently to promoting sustainable economic growth and prosperity throughout the country. Nutek develop and disseminate knowledge, tools and methods; run and support programmes in selected areas; support and create networks and alliances; inform and guide entrepreneurs; take decisions on and co-ordinate and develop regional support for enterprises and conduct analyses and provide data on which government decisions can be based.
Innovasjon Norge  
Promotes nationwide industrial development profitable to both the business economy and Norways national economy, and helps release the potential of different districts and regions by contributing towards innovation, internationalisation and promotion. Innovation Norway has offices in all the Norwegian counties and in more than 30 countries world wide. Head office in Oslo.
 
The Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory  
An independent body consisting of 24 members appointed by the Norwegian government. The main tasks of the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board is to evaluate the social and ethical consequences of modern biotechnology and to discuss usage which promotes sustainable development.
 
The Norwegian Food Safety Authority (NFSA)
A governmental body that promote human, plant, fish and animal health, environmentally friendly production, and ethically acceptable farming of animals and fish. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority also performs duties relating to cosmetics and medicines, and inspects animal health personnel.
 
The Norwegian Directorate for Health and Social Affairs  
A professional administrative body within certain areas in the fields of health and social affairs and has legal authority within this field. Contributes to the implementation of national health- and social policies, and serves as an advisory body to central authorities, municipalities, regional health authorities and voluntary organisations. To develop and advance health promotion and health prevention and improve services available within the field of health and social affairs are essential tasks for the Directorate.

Innomed - National network for need-driven innovation in healthcare
InnoMed was established by the The Directorate for Health and Social Affairs on behalf of The Ministry of Health and Care Services. The objective is to improve healthcare services through the development of new products and solutions that meet unmet market needs. For us, innovation as an instrument to improve healthcare services, and at the same time create market opportunities for Norwegian companies.
