GöteborgBIO is the door opener to the life science industry in the Göteborg Region.Our mission is to make the region known in Sweden and abroad as a region conducting biomedical research, commercialization and educational activities of the highest international standard.GöteborgBIO is a joint project between national and regional players, aiming to create a solid base for long-term growth in the biomedical field within the Göteborg Region, by cultivating academic research on commercial innovations and adaptations within the health care system.

Institute for Biomaterials and Cell Therapy (IBCT), with the mission to initiate and run research and development projects within biomaterials and cell therapy in collaboration with companies within the region.
Göteborg International Bioscience Business School (GIBBS) offers tomorrow´s leaders within the biomedical field a master´s programme of highest international standard.
Sahlgrenska Science Park, with its incubator, promotes the commercialization process and provides business counseling and laboratory facilities for research based innovations and emerging companies.
